Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother grew up in slums until she was three years old when she was adopted. Her adoptive father is white American with a military background, and her mother who adopted her is Filipino. Her mother claims that she and her brother adopted as a baby, were abused before they joined the military. The family relocated to Texas at the age of thirteen because her father was undergoing bypass surgery. They spent a few weeks in San Francisco with her aunt. She says the physical abuse subsided within a couple of months however, she had to suffer from the psychological abuse her father inflicted on her. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she turned 18. Poarch started her TikTok profile in April 2020. Within a short time, she had more than forty million users. She uploaded many videos, but the one that became her most popular was her rendition of Millie's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. The zoomed-in video of her dancing and singing to the melody made the rounds and was one of the most-viewed TikTok videos of all time. Following her joining TikTok she started a YouTube as well as a Twitter account to capitalize on her popularity. Poarch's fame reached its peak at the end of December in 2020. Her burgeoning fame was reported to have drawn two of the top professional Esports Teams. FaZe Clan & 100 Thieves each expressed interest in bringing on the creator of content to work under their respective brand.
