Akerman was well known for her role in Watchmen, Laurie Jupiter/Silk Spectre 2. Akerman has also appeared as Lara Axelrod in the infamous television show Billions. Her fame has been attributed to the roles she played as a naked female in Deplorability and Guardians. Akerman got her start as a model before transitioning into acting.
