Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her win at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her opponents within the first round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd rebounded from her loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by first-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd finished Evinger during the first round and got her a night's performance bonus. Her first major fight came in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended her streak to win. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. For a rematch, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by majority decision.
